The Charities
Futures For Kids is a fund raising charity, providing financial support via donations to existing and well established charities.
We have committed to supporting 3 charities for 2008 and hope to build a long term relationship with each of these charities in order to provide them with a revenue stream that helps them to commit to projects beyond one year. Over time we expect to add other charities to those that we support.
We have chosen the 3 charities for the work that they do to provide a better future for children in many different parts of the world. Each of them operates differently with a different focus, but all of them are committed to providing a better future for the children that they support. Some of the committee members have visited a few of the projects developed and run by the charities.

Everychild
Across the world 121 million children do not have the opportunity to go to school and 246 million have to work to survive. Children are being abused, exploited or forced to live in appalling conditions that we can barely imagine.
Everychild is fighting to change this. We are committed to protecting the rights of the world’s most vulnerable and marginalized children. Across 17 countries we fight to protect the most vulnerable and excluded children, giving them the chance to grow up in loving families with a safe and secure future.
In all of our projects we aim to bring about lasting , positive change in partnership wil local communities and governments.
