About Futures For Kids
The response to the idea of “Futures For Kids” has been amazing.
The amount of people from within the Industry who have offered support is truly astonishing. From designing the logo , the set up and registration of the Charity and indeed this website, have all been given to us by firms and individuals. All of our sponsors have been listed on our “sponsors and supporters” page.
Everyone involved is united by a common goal, which is simply to raise money for our chosen charities and it is clear that a huge number of people want to get involved. We have already received our first six figure donation given after a firm’s charity day.
Following the initial launch of the idea in February 2008 we are now in the process of completing the formalities. A registered entity will provide all of our donors the ability to claim tax relief on their donations as well as ensuring a governance model that will provide transparency as to what happens to your donations. The details of the registration number will be available on this website as soon as the Charities Commission has completed the approval process.
Futures For Kids is being established as a no cost, no profit firm, with the desire that, if at all possible all of our costs will be covered by sponsors and all of your donations will go straight through to the charities. We are, and will continue to be, dependent upon your support to help us make Futures For Kids a success and we would welcome any type of support that you can offer.
As this website develops we hope that it will become the centre for all that is going on with Futures For Kids and it will highlight events taking place, fund raising activities underway and which are seeking support and sponsorship. Please keep an eye on it!
